20TH CENTURY FOX

A Good Day to Die Hard - In House VFX Team. Provided a range of in house solutions from post vis to green screen to integration of pyro elements, matte paintings and complex procedural paint outs.

GEEK AND SUNDRY

I directed and VFX supervised a scifi fantasy short for Felicia Day’s show Written by a Kid. On a shoe string budget I designed and brought to life a vibrant utopian world of cloned fire fighters, glowing 3d gui’s and flying fire trucks, directing and supervising a small team of concept artists and matte painters to produce fantastic and memorable sci fi environments.

HUNGER GAMES IN HOUSE VFX

Core member of a small team of compositors providing fast, innovative in house solutions directly to Gary Ross and his editorial department.

SELF PROPRIETOR

Gravy -  VFX supervisor and onset consultant. Designed and supervised a greenscreen music video featuring miniature sets that were integrated with live action FG elements through onset perspective references and 3d projections/cards in Nuke.

MASTERKEY

Covert Affairs, Justified, Unreleased Pilots  - Core team member of an efficient boutique that cranked out hundreds of shots for cable serials and pilots. Set extensions, greenscreen compositing on a variety of HD cameras.

SELF PROPRIETOR

The Wilderness – I bid, produced, supervised and finaled a delivery of about 75 look specific shots, six of which were 3d face replacements. I was given total creative freedom in developing the look of the gore and monster effects.

BLUR STUDIOS

Heavy Metal - Core member of the animatic development team for this project produced by David Fincher. I worked closely with director Jhonen Vasquez (creator of Nickelodeon's Invader Zim) developing effects in After Effects. Also did a cut of the animatic in FCP.

GLOWGUN

War of the Dead –CG integration, matte painting and green screen assembly.

GRADIENT EFFECTS

Priest – Photoreal muzzle flashes, interactive lighting, green screen comping, rig removal.

Krupp - 3d Integration, set extension, matte painting animation in Shake.

Raumklima – Plate prep for talking animal animation (painting out whiskers), 3d integration, green screen comping
